Your sled never stops, and it never slows down on its own — it only gets faster. Everything you do is a decision about the next two seconds of slope. Steering is smooth rather than instant, so the trick is spotting the gap early and drifting into it, instead of yanking the sled sideways at the last moment.
Trees, rocks and snowmen end your run on contact. Wooden fences do not: hitting one at speed smashes it apart and adds 15 metres to your distance, so a fence is a target rather than a threat. Ice ramps throw you into the air, which is the only way to reach gifts floating above head height — and while you are airborne, ground-level obstacles pass harmlessly underneath.
Gifts are the currency. Each one you touch is banked immediately, even if you crash a second later, and they pay for the three locked sleds in the garage. That is what makes a short run still a productive run.

Obstacles and gifts are generated as you ride, so no two runs are laid out the same way. The speedometer climbs from about 55 km/h to a hard ceiling of roughly 164 km/h — after that the only variable left is your reaction time.
Classic Wood, Ice Saucer, Rocket Runner and Royal Gold — each a distinct model on the slope. Whichever you equip is still equipped the next time you visit.
Gifts bank the instant you touch them. Crash into the very next tree and they are still yours, so every run moves you closer to the next sled.
The sled leans into turns, carries its speed through the air and kicks up spray on landing. The camera widens as you accelerate, so going fast actually looks fast.
Touch buttons appear on their own, the view is re-framed so the track edges stay visible on narrow screens, and effects scale back on phones to protect frame rate and battery.

3D Snow Rider is a browser game built around one simple tension: the slope gets faster whether or not you are ready for it. There is no level select, no upgrade tree and no timer — only how long you can keep reading the ground ahead while the sled accelerates underneath you.
It is rendered with WebGL through Three.js and runs entirely on your own machine. That is why it loads in seconds, works without an account, and keeps playing even if your connection drops mid-run. Your best distance, your gift total and the sleds you have unlocked are written to your browser's local storage — never to a server.
